Description

Every student is required to write and submit a thesis as part of the final requirements for undergraduate academic education. In this case, a thesis refers to a scientific work that contains the results of research/research and/or literature studies carried out through a guidance process with a lecturer. This scientific work can be the result of an empirical study (empirical work), a critical review (critical survey), or a combination of both.

Thesis writing aims to train students to carry out research activities and encourage independent study by students. In particular, writing a thesis can be a process for students to develop several abilities such as:

ability to plan, manage, and conduct research activities on topics related to the area of ​​interest;
ability to carry out critical reasoning and formulate solutions;
ability to apply technical understanding and analytical methods;
the ability to use software or technology that supports academic research activities; And
the ability to write research reports in accordance with academic principles.

Thesis Writing Requirements

To be able to write a thesis, the following are the academic requirements that students must fulfill.

  • Students are actively registered/registered in the current semester.
  • Students have completed at least 120 credits of study.
  • Students have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.50.
  • Students have passed the Business and Management Research Methods course.

Students have carried out SCP, KKN and PKL

Final Assignment Exam Conditions

Students who have passed all mandatory and elective courses in accordance with academic regulations can register to take the final exam. The thesis exam has been designed in such a way as to measure students’ skills and abilities in carrying out simple observations/research as regulated by the study program. The following are the exam/thesis requirements for students of the Bachelor of Management study program:

  1. Students have carried out a proposal seminar no later than 2 months before the thesis trial
  2. Students have received approval from both supervisors to carry out the thesis trial
  3. Students have completed the SKPI obligations of the Study Program and University

Students have no administrative or financial obligations to the university
