According to Harini, there are at least five job prospects and positions that await management study program students in the world of work. First, said Harini, management graduates are needed in the marketing field, with the opportunity to hold positions ranging from handling marketing research, advertising and promotions, brand planning to sales and marketing distribution.
“You can also become a marketing consultant,” said Harini.
Then, according to Harini, many management graduates are also needed to handle the company’s Human Resources (HR) sector. Occupy a position responsible for organizing recruitment and selection in a company or organization, providing training and career development for employees, and can hold a position as a consultant in the field of human resources (HR).
“Affairs related to labor unions in a company are also usually handed over to management,” said the management master who graduated from the Indonesian Education University (UPI), Bandung.
Furthermore, according to Harini, in the field of operations and production, he occupies a position responsible for a project, product research and design, supply chain, product quality assurance and others. “The main thing is that it is related to a company’s production system,” he added.
Fourth, in the financial sector, management graduates continued Harini, can occupy positions that handle market analysis, cash flow and investment, budgeting, and capital market growth. “The job positions themselves could be bankers, accountants and financial auditors,”
Lastly, management graduates have the opportunity in their careers to occupy strategic areas of a company or organization, occupying positions related to organizational policies, and the scope is quite broad and requires a comprehensive understanding of an issue and providing the best solution.
“Being a leader in a company requires not only experience, but also relevant scientific disciplines, one of which is management science,” he said.
